These terms explain how All Clear Window Cleaning provides its exterior cleaning services. They are written to be clear, fair and practical, so that customers know what to expect before work begins.

1. About All Clear

All Clear Window Cleaning provides professional exterior cleaning services across Plymouth, South Devon and the surrounding area. Our services include window cleaning, gutter cleaning, soft washing, pressure washing, solar panel cleaning, commercial cleaning and other exterior property care.

2. Quotations

All work is quoted individually, based on the type of service required, the size and condition of the property, access, safety considerations and the level of work involved.

A quotation is valid for the work described at the time it is given. If the scope of the work changes, or if we discover conditions that were not visible or mentioned at the time of quoting, the price may need to be adjusted before work continues.

3. Bookings and access

Customers are asked to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas being cleaned. This may include unlocking gates, moving vehicles, clearing garden furniture where practical, and letting us know about any access restrictions before the appointment.

If we cannot carry out the work because access has not been provided, we may need to rearrange the appointment.

4. Weather and safety

Some exterior cleaning work depends on suitable weather and safe working conditions. We may need to postpone or rearrange work in cases of heavy rain, high winds, ice, storms, unsafe access, or any other condition that could affect safety or the quality of the result.

We will always try to give as much notice as possible if a booking needs to be rearranged.

5. Delicate surfaces, existing defects and damage

Exterior surfaces vary greatly in age, condition and construction. Customers should tell us in advance about any known fragile areas, leaks, damaged seals, unstable render, loose pointing, cracked glass, defective frames, electrical concerns or other existing issues.

We take care when working on older, coastal and rural properties, but cleaning can sometimes reveal pre-existing defects or weathering that was already present beneath dirt, algae, staining or organic growth.

We cannot be responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects, poor installation, ageing materials, loose fittings, rotten timber, failing seals, unstable render, flaking paint, unsecured vents, loose decorative bars, defective guttering, weak mortar, damaged fascia boards or other structural or decorative faults already present at the property.

Decorative window bars, trims, leadwork, vents and similar features should be securely fitted before cleaning takes place. If these items are already loose, poorly bonded or weakened by age, weathering or adhesive failure, they may come away during normal cleaning.

Our water-fed pole brushes and cleaning equipment are designed for professional exterior cleaning. We use appropriate methods for the surface being cleaned, but customers should make us aware of any especially delicate, recently repaired, painted, treated or unusual surfaces before work begins.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility to carry out our services with reasonable care and skill.

6. Results

We aim to achieve the best possible result using appropriate cleaning methods and professional care. However, some staining, mineral deposits, organic growth, oxidation, weathering, lichen marks or ingrained dirt may not be fully removable, especially on older or porous surfaces.

Where relevant, we will explain any likely limitations before or during the work.

7. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in advance or stated on your invoice. Payment details will be provided on the invoice or completion message.

For regular cleaning, payment should normally be made within 3 days of the cleaning date, unless another arrangement has been agreed. For larger jobs, commercial work or specialist exterior cleaning, a deposit or staged payment may be requested before work begins.

We reserve the right to suspend future or regular cleaning services while any payment remains overdue.

If an invoice remains unpaid after reasonable reminders, we may take further steps to recover the amount owed. This may include passing the debt to a collection agency or pursuing recovery through the appropriate legal process. Any reasonable costs incurred in recovering unpaid invoices may be added where permitted by law.

For business customers, statutory interest and debt recovery costs may apply to late commercial payments in accordance with applicable UK late payment legislation.

8. Cancellations and rearranged appointments

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please let us know as soon as possible.

We understand that plans change, and we aim to be reasonable. However, where a job is cancelled at short notice after time, travel, materials or preparation have already been committed, we may charge a reasonable amount to cover direct costs.

9. Customer satisfaction

If you have any concern about the work carried out, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can review it. Where appropriate, we will return to inspect or put right any issue relating to the agreed work.

We ask that concerns are raised promptly, ideally before any further cleaning, decorating, building work or third-party work takes place.

10. Photographs

We may take before-and-after photographs of work for our own records, quality control, or marketing.

We will not publish images that clearly identify a private customer, address or sensitive personal details without permission.

11. Intellectual property

The content on this website, including the text, photographs, design, layout, branding, graphics and other visual elements, belongs to All Clear Window Cleaning unless otherwise stated.

The All Clear name, logo, branding, website wording and overall presentation may not be copied, reproduced, adapted or used by another business without written permission.

Customers and visitors are welcome to view, print or save information from this website for their own personal reference, but the material must not be copied or reused for commercial purposes.

Any third-party images, fonts, tools or services used on this website remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Right to refuse or stop work

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if we believe conditions are unsafe, access is unsuitable, the requested work is inappropriate for the surface, or continuing may risk damage or poor results.
