clean & clear

Exterior and interior window cleaning,
carried out with care

We provide regular and one-off window cleaning for homes, cottages, period properties, coastal houses, holiday lets and rural estates across Plymouth and the South Hams.

Externally, we use purified water and professional reach-and-wash equipment to clean glass, frames and sills safely from the ground wherever possible.

For interiors and more delicate windows, we use traditional hand methods, working carefully around flooring, curtains, furniture, ornaments and older fittings.

Whether your property needs a regular maintenance clean, a careful internal clean, or a more detailed visit after building work, storms, salt spray or seasonal grime, the work is carried out with patience, respect and attention to detail.

Window cleaning can include:

  • External windows
  • Internal windows
  • Frames, sills and doors
  • Sash windows and period glass
  • French doors and bi-folds
  • Conservatory glass
  • Porches and entrance glass
  • Holiday let changeover cleans
  • One-off deep cleans
  • Regular maintenance visits

Suited to homes where care matters

We recognise that not all properties are the same.

Older glass, painted timber, deep sills and weathered frames are often best approached a little more carefully, without rushing the work or treating every window in the same way.

Many of the homes we work on have features such as traditional putty lines, ageing paintwork, soft stone surrounds or delicate interior furnishings close to the glass. Where appropriate, we adjust the method to suit the property, whether that means a lighter pure-water flow, softer brush pressure or traditional hand cleaning indoors.

From period houses and cottages to modern coastal homes exposed to salt and weather, the aim is always the same: clean glass, careful workmanship and respect for the setting.

From rural homes and period properties to larger coastal residences, our work is carried out with discretion, consistency and respect for the setting.

WINDOW CLEANING & QUESTIONS

Questions we are often asked...

A few simple answers about our window cleaning methods, pricing and what is included as part of a regular clean.

What is purified water window cleaning?

We use purified water, sometimes called pure water, which has been filtered through a deionising process to remove minerals and dissolved solids from ordinary tap water.

Because the water is ultra-pure, it rinses the glass cleanly and dries naturally without leaving mineral marks or streaks. It also allows us to clean exterior glass, frames and sills safely from the ground on many properties.

How much does window cleaning cost?

Every property is different, so the price depends on the number of windows, access, height, frequency of cleaning and whether internal windows are required.

For an accurate quote, we usually recommend a brief property visit. This allows us to assess the home properly and give a clear, no-obligation price based on the actual work required.

Do you clean the frames and window sills?

Yes. We pride ourselves on giving a thorough clean, not just a quick wash of the glass.

Our regular exterior window cleaning includes the glass, frames, sills and doors where safely accessible. We can also clean accessible Velux, dormer and roofline windows, depending on the layout of the property.

Need a careful window cleaning service for your home?

Whether you are looking for regular exterior cleaning, a one-off internal clean, or a complete window clean for a larger property, we would be pleased to discuss what you need.
